Specialized prenatal care for pregnancies conceived through IVF / ICSI / FET — coordinated with the ART team and tailored to multiple or high-order gestations.
A specialized prenatal pathway for pregnancies conceived through IVF, ICSI, or frozen embryo transfer (FET). The obstetric team works in coordination with reproductive endocrinology, with extra attention to early pregnancy monitoring and multiple gestations.
Combined review with the ART team and the obstetric team. Medications continued where appropriate; pregnancy-dating ultrasound at 6–7 weeks.
Serial early viability scans, NIPT or targeted genetic screening, cervical-length baseline for multiples, individualized visit schedule.
Standard prenatal pathway plus extra growth scans, fetal monitoring, and birth planning in a tertiary maternity unit with NICU cover.
IVF pregnancies deserve a little more attention in the first trimester — not because they are less robust, but because the monitoring schedule can be denser and the family often carries more anxiety. Our pathway acknowledges that with earlier and more frequent scans, clear English-language documentation, and a coordinator who understands both the ART and obstetric sides.
For donor-egg pregnancies, genetic counselling and disclosure support are available. For twins, we plan delivery in a tertiary maternity unit with NICU cover regardless of how the pregnancy has progressed.
A 3–5 night delivery stay built around low-intervention natural birth in a private LDR suite, with full anesthesia cover and immediate postpartum support.
