For a full pregnancy pathway, contact us by week 12–16 of pregnancy so that the first-trimester screening, NIPT and anomaly scan happen on schedule. For delivery-only or late-arrival planning, a remote consultation 4–8 weeks before travel is usually enough.
Yes. In the natural delivery package, the partner is present throughout labour and birth in the private LDR suite. For cesarean section, the partner can usually join in the operating theatre once the anesthesia is in place, at the obstetrician's discretion.

Yes. English-speaking obstetricians, pediatricians and care coordinators are available across our partner network. Translation in French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Vietnamese can be arranged at additional cost.
Most international patients enter China with a standard tourist (L) or business (M) visa for short stays. For longer programs (full pregnancy pathway or confinement), we provide the medical invitation letter and supporting documents required for a medical visa application. TCM is integrated into the pathway where helpful — prenatal conditioning, morning sickness relief, postnatal confinement (zuoyuezi) and pelvic recovery. It complements Western obstetrics rather than replacing it, and every TCM prescription is individualized after consultation. You can decline TCM at any time.
Water birth and painless delivery (epidural) are routinely offered in the natural delivery package, subject to obstetric review. Water birth is available in dedicated birthing pools in the LDR suite; epidural anesthesia is on call 24/7 and administered by senior anesthetists.
Yes. Family members can accompany patients throughout the maternity stay. Postpartum suites include a companion bed; we also help book nearby hotels or serviced apartments. For long confinement stays, the companion accommodation is included.
You receive a complete English-language discharge summary, the newborn screening results, the vaccination record, and a personalized postpartum recovery plan. Lactation follow-up continues by WhatsApp, with escalation to telemedicine or in-person review when needed.
The high-risk pregnancy care program manages complications like gestational diabetes, hypertension, placenta previa and maternal comorbidities. Our partner hospitals have adult ICU and neonatal ICU cover, and the obstetric team is honest about what is manageable in our setting and what requires transfer.
